The meeting was reportedly convened to assess the outcomes of the conciliation talks between the Federal Government and JOHESU, which took place on Thursday at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment headquarters.

In a communique released following the meeting, the union stated that the strike has been suspended to facilitate the implementation of the FG-JOHESU Terms of Settlement.
