Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have apprehended Sabastine Odo Odam, a suspected commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), and Ejike Daniel, allegedly linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in Eha-Amufu and Umuhu, respectively, within Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State.

According to security sources, the arrests on Friday followed months of intelligence operations monitoring the suspects’ activities. The actions come in the wake of a series of violent attacks on police stations and killings that occurred between 2024 and 2026.
