Inter Miami CF have officially opened negotiations with Casemiro, submitting an initial proposal as the club ramps up its pursuit of elite global talent.

According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 34-year-old Brazilian is reportedly open to joining Miami, attracted by the club’s ambitious project and lifestyle opportunities. “Deal depends on financial proposal, as he received more bids from Europe/Saudi Arabia,” Romano added.

Casemiro, a former Real Madrid star, announced in January that he will leave Manchester United at the end of his current £350,000-a-week contract. Despite a strong season, United have decided not to offer a new deal, part of a wider squad overhaul strategy and cost-cutting measures championed by co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The midfielder requested that his departure be made public to avoid confusion as the season concludes. Casemiro will be available on a free transfer, with multiple clubs reportedly expressing interest in securing his services.
