DELTA GOVERNOR CELEBRATES OLU OF WARRI ON 42ND BIRTHDAY

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has congratulated the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, on his 42nd birthday.

The message was conveyed through a statement issued on Thursday in Asaba by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon.

Oborevwori highlighted the traditional ruler’s leadership as a source of inspiration for unity and progress among his people.

He commended the Olu of Warri for his ongoing efforts to promote peace and drive economic development within the Warri Kingdom since his ascension to the throne.

He noted the significant progress achieved during the Olu’s reign, emphasising that Warri has undergone remarkable transformation under his leadership.

The governor also described the traditional ruler’s character as exemplary.

He added that the Olu of Warri’s composure, sense of responsibility, and dedication to duty have enhanced the significance and prestige of the traditional institution.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta, I heartily celebrate Your Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, as you mark your 42nd birth anniversary.

“Your reign has been impactful, driven by integrity, vision, and a strong passion for unity and progress among your people,” he said.

The governor also prayed for continued divine guidance, wisdom, and good health for the monarch, expressing hope that his leadership would sustain development and stability across the state.
