CP TIJANI FATAI VISITS POLICE SCREENING CENTRE, URGES APPLICANTS BEFORE DEADLINE

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, mnips, today visited the ongoing 2025 Police Constable Recruitment Screening Centre at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State, to monitor the exercise and ensure full compliance with established guidelines. The screening exercise, which began on Monday, 9th March 2026, is being conducted at the Police College, Ikeja, in accordance with approved procedures.

During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with representatives of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Federal Character Commission (FCC), and the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Lagos State Command, who are present to observe and guarantee transparency, fairness, and credibility in the recruitment process.
He stated that the exercise aligns with the vision and directives of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, aimed at strengthening a transparent, credible, and merit-driven recruitment system within the Nigeria Police Force.
CP Tijani Fatai expressed satisfaction with the level of coordination and organisation at the screening centre, commending all officials and partner agencies for their professionalism and adherence to due process. He also urged applicants who have not yet participated to take advantage of the opportunity before the exercise closes on Saturday, 18th April 2026, warning that failure to do so may result in disqualification.


He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the recruitment process.
