OVER 1.8 MILLION UTME RESULTS RELEASED IN THREE DAYS — JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
In a statement on Sunday, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin disclosed that 1,264,940 results from the two days have been processed and made available for candidates.

He noted that this follows an earlier release of 632,752 results for those who took the exam on Thursday, April 16, bringing the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.
The board advised candidates to check their results via its official SMS channels by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.
JAMB added that the released results cover the first three days of the nationwide examination, which began on Thursday and is expected to involve over two million candidates across various computer-based test centres.
