The Special Assistant on Girl Child Education and Development to Dikko Radda, Jamila Mani, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress primary election for the Mani/Bindawa Federal Constituency seat in Katsina State.

The primary election was held on Saturday as part of the party’s National Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mani defeated her closest rival, Ahmed Saleh, after polling 24,989 votes to secure the party’s ticket.

Saleh scored 1,256 votes in the exercise.

In other constituencies across the state, the APC conducted its primaries through affirmation following a consensus arrangement earlier adopted by party stakeholders.

The APC is currently holding its House of Representatives primary elections across different states ahead of the 2027 general elections.
