Tiwa Savage, Saheed Balogun and Faithia Williams are bigwigs and forces whose contribution to the Nigerian entertainment industry cannot be overemphasised.
Tiwa Savage Balogun (born 5 February 1980), better known by her stage name Tiwa Savage, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer and actress.
She currently has a songwriting deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Savage signed a recording contract with Mavin Records in 2012. Savage also signed a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation in June 2016, which she later confirmed via Instagram. She co-wrote the track “Collard Greens & Cornbread” off Fantasia Barrino’s Grammy-nominated album, Back to Me. Savage was featured on Solar Plexus, a compilation album released by Mavin Records. Her debut studio album, Once Upon a Time, was released on 3 July 2013.
It was supported by the singles “Kele Kele Love”, “Love Me (3x)”, “Without My Heart”, “Ife Wa Gbona”, “Folarin”, “Olorun Mi” and “Eminado”. Savage’s second studio album, R.E.D, was released on 19 December 2015. It produced the singles “My Darlin'”, “African Waist” and “If I Start To Talk”. Savage sings in English and Yoruba.
As a singer, her achievements include an MTV Europe Music Award, MTV Africa Music Award, two The Headies Awards, one Channel O Music Video Award, one Nigeria Music Video Award, and two City People Entertainment Awards
Saheed Balogun was born on February 5, 1967, in Kwara State, North Central, but hails from Oyo State, where he had his primary, secondary and tertiary education. He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic.[4] He began acting in 1978 when he presented his first television program titled “Youth Today” on NTA.
He produced his first film titled City Girl in 1989 but had featured, produced and directed several Nigerian films.
He was initially married to Nollywood actress, Faithia Balogun but they got separated. He has two children Khalid and Aliyah Balogun.

Faithia Williams was born in Ikeja on February 1969.
Her ancestry is from Okpara Delta State. She attended Maryland Primary School and Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos State, where she obtained the West African School Certificate before she proceeded to Kwara State Polytechnic where she received a diploma certificate.
She has starred, produced and directed several Nigerian films over the years. In 2008, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award. for the Most Outstanding Actress, Indigenous and her movie Iranse Aje won the best indigenous film of the year. In April 2014, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award, having emerged as best actress of the year along with Odunlade Adekola who emerged as best actor of the year. Faithia Balogun also won the Best Indigenous Language: Yoruba award for the work done in the film Iya Alalake at the 2015 Africa-Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards AMVCA.
