PRESIDENT BUHARI THANKS NIGERIANS FOR ELECTING HIM FOR SECOND-TERM

Following his emergence as the 2019 president-elect, President Muhammadu Buhari has send a message of appreciation to Nigerians for voting him for the second-term in office.
Addressing the All Progressives Congress, APC members in the early hours of Wednesday, at the presidential campaign secretariat, shortly after INEC’s announcement, Buhari said he was grateful and humbled by the gestures of the electorates who gave him the second opportunity to take Nigeria to the next level of development.
He said, “First and foremost, I give thanks to God
“I thank the millions of Nigerians who voted to re-elect me for the next four years.
“I feel so humbled for the trust vested in me in making me worthy of continuing to serve you.”
The President further appealed for the cooperation of well-meaning Nigerians across the country in the task of nation-building.
