According to a Twitter user @mzgbeborun who shared photos and video from the scene where the workers were trampling over themselves for the bags of rice
”Sanwoolu asked to meet Civil servants in Lagos State at Adeyemo Bero Auditorium, Alausa… But we are here struggling to collect Rice. Yes! CIVIL SERVANTS!!!!
These are not thugs my dear, these are civil SERVANTS OF LAGOS STATE!!!!”.
