JUST IN: LAGOS CP TO INVESTIGATE SINGER ‘PORTABLE’ OVER FORMATION OF ‘ONE MILLION BOYS’
The Fore headquarters has launched a probe in response to the popular music star Portable’s admission in a trending/viral video that he was one of the individuals crucial to the founding of the notorious cultist group, One Million Boys, in Lagos.
The statement read: “In response to the popular video of one Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, in which he claimed to have founded the One-Million Boys cult group terrorizing some areas of Lagos State, the IGP has directed CP Lagos to look into the accusatory statement and take appropriate legal action.”
“This decision is founded on the continuing endeavor of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society,” CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer, said in a statement.
In a widely shared video, Potable claimed that the violent criminal gang One Million Boys was founded in Lagos. This claim sparked widespread outrage among Nigerians.
