MATAWALLE SEEKS URGENT RESCUE OF KIDNAPPED KEBBI STUDENTS

 Matawlle, Minister of State for Defense, has denounced the assault on Government Girls’ Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga, located in Kebbi’s Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area. Matawalle demanded that the 25 students who had been kidnapped by bandits be rescued immediately. Enderline Chukwu, the Ministry of Defense's Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations, made this announcement on Monday in Abuja. The minister responded strongly to the late-night attack that killed Malam Hassan Makuku, the vice principal of the institution, calling it intolerable. According to Matawalle, President Bola Tinubu has instructed security forces to mobilize right away and cooperate in order to find and secure the release of the kidnapped schoolgirls. In order to guarantee that the students are released without incident and that the criminals are caught, he called on the security forces to "act decisively and in coordination." The minister urged residents in the impacted areas to be calm and assured them that the government and security forces were working tirelessly to resolve the issue.
