Femi Branch keeps mum on third marriage

It is no longer news that talented Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, has married another woman, which makes it his third marriage. While being conferred recently with a chieftaincy title, the Agun Asa of Edeland, by the Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi III, the actor took pictures with his new wife.
Branch wrote on Instagram, “My sweet fragrance, Yeye Jagun Asa, thanks for being my rock.”
When Sunday Scoop caught up with him recently, the actor declined to speak on his marital life. He said, “I don’t want to talk about it but given another chance in life, I would love to make fewer mistakes. In my career too, I would have loved to join the acting industry earlier. But I am grateful.”
Branch also believed that becoming a chief would not limit his roles in Nollywood. He stated, “People are worried that since I am now a chief, I could dump acting. They have forgotten that I was not installed as a king but chief of a town. Yes, there are some responsibilities that come with the office but I am not the first actor to be installed as a chief. There were a lot of people there before me and more people will also come after me.”
Speaking on his role in the new Africa Magic TV series, Ajoche, he said, “The experience on set was fantastic as it is not every time you get to do a job of this size. We appreciate when a big-budget job like this comes and we also appreciate the producers who produce smaller jobs because that is actually our mainstay. Everyone will like to watch this series because lots of efforts went into it. It tells the story of the Idoma people, and that has never been done in Nigeria.”
