I Dated Toyin Aimakhu When She Was Just 16- Ex Lover, Seun Egbegbe Claims
Seun Egbegbe, the CEO of Ebony Films Production Nigeria Limited and the ex-lover of actress Toyin Aimakhu in a new interview revealed that he has been dating her ever before she even knew her husband- Adeniyi Johnson.
The Nollywood filmmaker, opened up on his relationship with embattled actress, Toyin Aimakhu and accusations levied against him about her kidnap said he was accused of what he never did or had in mind.
“First, I never snatched Toyin Aimakhu from anybody. Toyin and I have not just known each other. We have been dating ever before she knew her husband. That was about 15 years ago. Even before her husband started acting. And recently, when we now met again, she wasn’t with her husband anymore before we rekindled our romance.”
Speaking on the kidnapping allegations levied against him, Egbegbe reinstated, Aimakhu was never kidnapped but returned to the house after she was done at the location.
Mr. Egbegbe added: “Why would they say I kidnapped my girlfriend? If Toyin wasn’t on movie location, that means she was with me and anytime she’s through at the location she comes back to my house. Would I have kidnapped her and kept her underground? So those behind the story and those still peddling it as rumour, God knows what they really want to gain from that. But, left to me, I didn’t kidnap Toyin and I will never do that.”
In November 2015, Toyin Aimakhu started dating Seun Egbegbe as her marriage to Adeniyi Johnson started falling apart publicly.
