BUILDING COLLAPSE: ‘CASUALTIES FIGURE YET UNKNOWN’ – LASEMA

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA has revealed that the number of casualties in the Lagos-Island building collapse in Ita-faji area of Lagos-Island, is yet to be determined.
Speaking with newsmen on Thursday morning, General Manager of the Agency, Mr Adesina Tiamiyu explained that the Agency was yet to determine the number of casualties and survivors from the disaster.
Tiamiyu who is also the incident commander stated that the Lagos State ministry of health will at the end of the rescue operation give specific figure and names of the victims.
Tiamiyu who revealed that the last dead boby which was brough out of the rubbles at about 3 am today, said many victims who were rushed to the general hospital survived while some others died.
