
JUST IN: SENATE GETS NEW MINORITY LEADER, CHIEF WHIP
Senator Philip Aduda, a legislator from the Federal Capital Territory, was chosen as the Minority Leader of the Senate on Tuesday, succeeding Senator Eyinaya Abaribe.
Senator Chukwuka Utazi was also named as the Senate Minority Whip, succeeding Senator Aduda.
The appointments were announced by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, who read two different letters written by Peoples Democratic Party National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu.
Remember that the Minority Leader’s position fell vacant after Senator Abaribe (Abia South) defected from the PDP.
