PORT HARCOURT MALL GUTS FIRE
By Sumayyah Olapade
There was pandemonium at the Port Harcourt Mall, the largest and most popular shopping center in the Rivers State capital, following a fire incident on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, the incident was started by a defective air conditioner and spread to an inverter in the building, which caught fire. However, the engineers there put it out.
To avoid a rush, shoppers, business owners, and some personnel were discreetly removed when the incident occurred.
Normalcy has since been restored.
