JUST IN: NIGERIA WINS BRONZE AT WOMEN’S U-17 WORLD CUP

Nigeria’s Female Under-17 national team, the Flamingos have clinched the bronze medal in the ongoing U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup in India.

The girls defeated the German U-17 Female team 3-2 via penalties after the game had ended 3-3 in regulation time.
This is Nigeria’s best performance at the competition since its inception.
