According to reports, Thug felt chest symptoms before to his court appearance on Thursday (May 11).

Young Thug’s lawyer verified that he was discharged from the hospital after complaining of chest symptoms. According to reports that surfaced on Thursday (May 11th), the Atlanta singer was taken urgently to the hospital before his scheduled court appearance.

However, it wasn’t immediately obvious what health issues he was dealing with. Thug reportedly had chest symptoms prior to receiving care at Grady Hospital, according to 11 Alive. He was fortunately later discharged after a checkup and is now scheduled to show up in court today (May 12).

Judge Ural Glanville was informed by Young Thug’s lawyer, Keith Adams, that he was not aware of Thug’s health. He added that he didn’t expect the rapper to appear in court for Thursday’s hearing.

“I’ve asked the sheriff’s department if I’d be able to make contact with Mr. Williams. If I’d be able to see him at Grady,” Adams explained. “They said probably not. I do know that he’s had some difficulty of a similar sort at the Cobb County Jail a few months ago.”

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Thug has been reported to be having health problems while incarcerated. Brian Steel, the other legal representative for the 31-year-old rapper, submitted a fourth request for bond last month.

The rapper frequently lacks sleep due to the musician’s busy court schedule, according to the lawyer. For court, Steel revealed that Thug had to get up around 4 or 5 a.m. He doesn’t return to the jail, though, until after midnight.

In the end, Steel contended that it made it difficult for Thug to adequately get ready for court. Additionally, there are apparently few healthful food options available to Thug.

At this point, Thug had been detained for about a year. He and Gunna were both taken into custody as part of a broad RICO case including accused YSL members. Prosecutors claim the alleged street gang is affiliated with the Bloods.

Officials claim Young Thug is the “head” of the organized street gang. One prosecutor alleged, “He’s the one they’re all afraid of, he’s the one that’s King Slime.” However, his attorneys claim that prosecutors targetted Thug because of his art. We’ll keep you posted on further updates surrounding Young Thug’s case.
