UPDATE: ELEVEN VEHICLES BURNT IN LAGOS TANKER EXPLOSION (VIDEO)

A total of eleven vehicles were burnt when a petroleum products tanker exploded in Lagos on Thursday night.
While giving a situation report on the explosion that occured at Costain area, towards Ijora 7up, the General Manager of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Adeseye Margaret said; “the raging Fire has been curtailed as the dampening of pockets of Fire continues to allowing for investigation to reveal the cause and the evacuation of the carcass to bring about normalcy.
“Property Involved are:
11 vehicles which include:
2 tankers
1 tipper truck
3 trailers
3 cars and
2 micro-mini busses (korope)
“No life and no injuries recorded as occupants escaped unhurt.”
Earlier in the day on Thursday, a diesel tanker collided with a bus just after the popular Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, causing the tanker to overturn and spill its content.
