BENIN TO HOST INAUGURAL EDITION OF NPFL YOUTH LEAGUE FINALS

On Tuesday, the chairman of the NPFL Youth League Committee, Pastor Emeka Inyama, confirmed that the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Youth League championship finals will be held in Benin, the capital of Edo State.

Additionally, he said that the finals will take place at Benin’s Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium from February 24 to March 2.

Teams qualified for the championship finals through the zonal qualifications, which took place in five locations from February 1–3.

Teams that progressed from the zonal qualifiers are Rangers International from the South East, Rivers United from the South South, Remo Stars from the Southwest, Katsina United from the North East/West, and Plateau United from the North Central.
“We expect the teams to arrive in Benin on the 24th, and the first rounds of matches will begin on February 25th,” Pastor Inyama told NPFL Media.
