BREAKING: EMEFIELE ARRAIGNED IN LAGOS TODAY, PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO CHARGES

Godwin Emefiele, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has shown up in court to be arraigned.
He was charged with misusing his position and allocating billions of dollars at the Ikeja High Court, Lagos.
At 9am in the morning, Trial Judge Rahman Oshodi arrived in the courtroom to start the proceedings. Emefiele and Henry Omoile, his co-defendant, were read the 26-count charge.
However, the two accused entered not-guilty pleas to every count.
