TINUBU CHAIRS FEC MEETING

The Federal Executive Council meeting is now being chaired by President Bola Tinubu.
Around 1:20 PM, the President showed up for the meeting in the State House Abuja’s Council Chamber.
Ministers and a few presidential aides are among the FEC’s members.
Due to an official assignment in Dubai, Vice President Kashim Shettima is not attending the conference. For the smaller Hajj, he is also anticipated to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It’s unclear if this will be the FEC’s final meeting of 2024, which ends in just two weeks.
But on Tuesday, one day after FEC, President Tinubu is anticipated to present the 2025 Appropriations Bill to the National Assembly.
