JUST IN: IRANIAN MISSILE DAMAGES US EMBASSY IN TEL AVIV

Agency report
U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, confirmed on Monday that a U.S. embassy building in Tel Aviv sustained minor damage following a nearby Iranian missile strike. He noted that no American personnel were injured in the incident.
The missile attack came as Iran launched a barrage targeting several Israeli cities early Monday, in retaliation for Israeli strikes on military sites deep within Iran. Both nations have since issued warnings of further escalation.
AFP images from the scene showed buildings in Tel Aviv’s coastal area severely damaged, following alerts from the Israeli military urging residents to seek shelter from incoming missiles.
“Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch in @TelAviv but no injuries to US personnel,” Huckabee said on X.
He said the US embassy in Jerusalem would remain closed on Monday as orders to “shelter in place (are) still in effect”.
Following years of hostility and proxy conflicts, Israel’s recent strike on Iran has ignited the most intense confrontation to date, raising concerns of a prolonged war that could destabilize the entire Middle East.
According to Israeli officials, their strikes targeted military and nuclear sites, resulting in the deaths of several senior commanders and nuclear scientists.
However, a senior U.S. official revealed on Sunday that President Donald Trump had advised Israel against proceeding with a plan to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump has urged the foes to “make a deal” but told reporters Sunday that “sometimes they have to fight it out” first.
