VIDEO: TRAFFIC DISRUPTION AS BRT BUSES, JEEP COLLIDE AT AIRPORT U-TURN IN LAGOS

At approximately 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, a traffic collision occurred at the Airport U-turn, inward National, Ikeja, Lagos, involving two BRT buses and a Nissan Pathfinder SUV, which reportedly ran a red light.
According to preliminary reports, five female individuals were involved in the incident. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at the time of reporting.
The crash has significantly impacted vehicular movement in the area, causing a traffic buildup.
Officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) are currently on the ground, working to manage the flow of traffic and assist those affected.
Efforts are ongoing to clear the scene and restore normal traffic conditions.
