In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force Operation Enduring Peace, Captain Chinonso Polycarp Oteh, the operation took place around 7:49 p.m. on Tuesday near Doruwa Babuje in the Marit general area.
According to the statement, security operatives acted on intelligence reports indicating the movement of armed men believed to be linked to attacks on nearby communities.
