Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday cast his vote at Polling Unit 006, Ward E, located at St. Stephens Nursery and Primary School, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island.
He was joined by his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, who also voted at the same polling unit.
The governor arrived alongside the Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile, and other dignitaries.
Speaking to journalists after voting, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the conduct of the exercise, commending both electoral officials and security personnel for maintaining order.
He noted that the process was smooth and peaceful, with citizens showing up to exercise their democratic rights.
