NOTTINGHAM FOREST SEAL £37M DEAL FOR OMARI HUTCHINSON FROM IPSWICH TOWN

Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement to sign winger Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town in a transfer worth £37 million.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Friday that the 21-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Premier League side and is set to undergo a medical.
“Nottingham Forest agree deal to sign Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town for £37m fee, here we go! Omari, on his way to medical right now as personal terms are also agreed for the new chapter,” Romano posted.
Hutchinson began his youth career at Chelsea before spells with Charlton Athletic and Arsenal, returning to Stamford Bridge in 2022. Limited first-team opportunities saw him loaned to Ipswich Town for the 2023/24 season, where he enjoyed a breakout campaign, netting 10 goals and providing five assists to help the Tractor Boys secure Premier League promotion. His performances earned him the EFL Championship Player of the Month award in February 2024.
Ipswich made the move permanent in 2024 for a club-record fee, but Hutchinson could not prevent their relegation last season, scoring three league goals.

Born in England, Hutchinson has represented both Jamaica and England at international level and was part of the England Under-21 squad that won the 2025 UEFA European Championship.
Forest, who finished seventh last season to secure Europa League football, are expected to make Hutchinson one of their marquee summer signings. Chelsea will also profit from the transfer, having inserted a 25 per cent sell-on clause when they sold him to Ipswich.
