POPULAR SKITMAKER, SANKU DIES IN FATAL OYO ROAD ACCIDENT

Popular Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, Sanku, has tragically died in a car accident along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State.
His death was confirmed on Monday by actor Yemi Elesho through his social media pages.
Interestingly, just weeks earlier on August 4, Sanku had released a skit portraying himself in heaven after death, where he expressed disappointment at not seeing as many people as expected and urged his partner in the video to go to hell so they could continue enjoying life together.
Following the news, Nollywood actors have taken to social media to mourn the late comedian.
Actress Funmi Awelewa, expressed heartbreak, saying, “The pain, the effort, the strength, the struggle… walai nothing make sense. I’m heartbroken. Even film sef never come out! It does not make sense.”
Earlier, influencer Jidex posted a video of the wrecked vehicle, disclosing that several passengers sustained injuries in the accident.
Sanku and another victim were severely injured, but the comedian eventually died from his wounds.
“This is heartbreaking.
“Someone who left home in good health is suddenly gone. It is painful, especially coming just a day after the passing of Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor,” Jidex wrote.
