LAGOS POLICE COMMAND CONGRATULATES DR. AYO OGUNSAN ON APPOINTMENT AS EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF LSSTF

The Lagos State Police Command has congratulated Dr. Ayo Ogunsan on his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In a statement issued on Sunday, November 2, 2025, by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohunnare Jimoh, described the appointment as “well-deserved,” noting that it reflects the governor’s confidence in Dr. Ogunsan’s capacity, integrity, and long-standing commitment to strengthening Lagos’ security architecture.
According to the statement, Dr. Ogunsan has over the years demonstrated exceptional leadership, selflessness, and dedication to advancing public safety and supporting security agencies in the state.
“The Commissioner of Police is confident that Dr. Ogunsan, as a distinguished member of the LSSTF Board, will assume this new role with deep institutional knowledge, proven integrity, and unwavering dedication, coupled with a strategic understanding of the security needs of Lagos State,” the statement read.
The Command expressed optimism that Dr. Ogunsan’s appointment would further enhance the operational efficiency of the LSSTF and strengthen its support for security agencies, ultimately improving safety and security across the state.
“Dr. Ogunsan’s continued valuable contributions to the LSSTF and his longstanding partnership with security agencies across the State have positioned him exceptionally well to steer the Fund towards greater operational efficiency an outcome that will undoubtedly enhance public safety and security throughout Lagos State,” the statement added.
The Command also reaffirmed its readiness to maintain a close working relationship with the LSSTF under Dr. Ogunsan’s leadership, emphasizing that collaboration between the Fund and law enforcement agencies remains vital to sustaining peace and protecting residents.
“The Lagos State Police Command once again warmly welcomes his appointment with deep optimism and hereby assures the new Executive Secretary of its unwavering partnership and cooperation. The Command is proud of him and immensely happy to be associated with him,” the statement concluded.
