Real Madrid and France luminary, Kylian Mbappé, has dismissed the achievement of scoring 400 career goals, asserting that he harbors significantly larger aspirations in the realm of football history.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on Friday, Mbappé remarked, “400 goals do not captivate individuals. I aim to leave my imprint on football history, thus I must net at least 400 more. ”

The 26-year-old striker referenced all-time legends, citing players with over 900 goals, expressing that merely attaining 400 is insufficient to remain among the elite who perpetually astound supporters.

“There is one with 950+ goals, and another with 900+. 400 isn’t sufficient to remain within the sphere of players who amaze spectators,” he further elaborated, emphasizing his determination to achieve legendary status.

Mbappé’s statements reflect his unwavering ambition, as he persistently pursues both individual accolades and team triumphs, striving to secure his position among the most esteemed players in football history.

Mbappé netted twice as France triumphed over Ukraine 4-0 in the World Cup qualifying match on Thursday.
