Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has made Premier League history by becoming the first player to score three hat-tricks in the first half of matches in the competition.

According to a post from Chelsea’s website on Saturday, Palmer achieved the milestone during Chelsea’s 3–1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux, striking all three goals before the break to put the Blues firmly in control.

The England international had previously recorded first-half hat-tricks against Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion, making him “the only player in Premier League history to accomplish the feat on three separate occasions.”

“With this feat, Palmer is now the only player in Premier League history to score three hat-tricks in the first half of a match (the others coming against Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion). It also ensured he further added his name to the Chelsea and Premier League record books,” Chelsea said.

The latest treble underscores Palmer’s growing influence at Chelsea and his reputation as “one of the league’s most decisive attacking players.” His goals against Wolves also contributed to Chelsea’s continued strong run of form in the league.

Palmer’s historic achievement adds to an already impressive list of records since his arrival at Stamford Bridge and highlights his rising status in both Chelsea and Premier League history.
