President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, on her 70th birthday, describing her as a public servant who served with distinction and integrity.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President joined Sosan’s family, friends and associates in celebrating what he described as her life of service to humanity and dedication to God.

Tinubu recalled that Sosan began her professional career as a teacher, where she inspired young minds and promoted the value of education and knowledge.

He further noted that she served as Deputy Governor of Lagos State from 2007 to 2011 alongside former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, highlighting her commitment to governance and development. The President also acknowledged her current role as Lagos State’s representative at the Federal Civil Service Commission.

“Serving people comes naturally to her. As deputy governor of Lagos, Sosan served with distinction and integrity. She worked harmoniously with Governor Fashola and was resolutely committed to the socio-economic development of Lagos State,” Tinubu stated.

The President prayed for continued good health and more impactful years for the former deputy governor.
