U-20 WWCQ: FINAL QUALIFIERS SET AS NIGERIA, GHANA AND FIVE OTHERS ADVANCE

Eight nations, including Nigeria and Ghana, have advanced to the final stage of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The development follows the completion of Saturday’s third-round qualifying matches held at various venues across Africa.
Nigeria’s Falconets secured their spot after defeating Senegal 2-1 in the second leg of their third-round encounter on Saturday night. The team, coached by Moses Aduku, progressed with a 3-1 aggregate victory.
Ghana’s Black Princesses also booked their place in the final round after edging South Africa 1-0 in Nelspruit, completing a 3-2 aggregate win.
With the results, Nigeria and Ghana join Uganda, Malawi, Cameroon, Tanzania, Côte d’Ivoire and the Benin Republic in the final qualifying round of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
