IRANIAN CROWN PRINCE PLEDGES WILLINGNESS TO LEAD AND WORK WITH THE WEST

Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s last monarch, has declared that he is ready to lead the country should the current government collapse following the death of Ali Khamenei.
Having lived in exile for decades, Pahlavi said he has accepted what he described as a call from the Iranian people to guide the nation through a political transition.
He is the eldest son of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was overthrown during the Iranian Revolution, and has become one of the most prominent critics of the current Iranian regime. Over the years, he has encouraged protests against the Islamic Republic and called for the removal of the ruling system. He has also advocated for rebuilding closer ties with Western countries and Israel.

Khamenei was reportedly killed in strikes carried out by the United States and Israel inside Iran. According to Iranian law, the Assembly of Experts is responsible for selecting a new supreme leader, though no successor has yet been announced. In the meantime, the country is being governed by a temporary leadership council comprising the president, the head of the judiciary, and a member of the Guardian Council.
In a video message shared on social media, Pahlavi accused the current rulers of spreading violence across the region for decades. “For nearly five decades, this terrorist regime has brought chaos and bloodshed across our region,” he said.
He added that many Iranians have asked him to assume leadership during a transitional period once the current government is gone. “I have accepted that responsibility,” he said. “My goal is to restore stability and allow Iranians to determine their future through free elections.”
Pahlavi also called on Arab countries to support a future transitional government in Iran and collaborate with it if political change occurs.
