APC CONVENTION SUCCESS PAVES WAY FOR 2027 VICTORY — BENUE CHAIRMAN

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Benjamin Omale, has hailed the success of the party’s national convention as a reflection of members’ commitment to advancing President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
In a statement issued personally on Sunday in Makurdi, Omale congratulated President Tinubu and the National Working Committee, led by Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on the smooth and successful conduct of the convention in Abuja.
He also commended Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia and other APC governors for their contributions to ensuring a peaceful exercise, noting that their coordination and support have laid a strong foundation for the party’s future activities.
Omale further praised the organisers and the party’s National Working Committee, expressing confidence that their reappointment will bolster the APC as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.

The Benue APC chairman stated that the ruling party is determined to maintain its momentum and secure victory in the 2027 elections at all levels. He added that both President Tinubu and Governor Alia have delivered commendable performance, deserving second terms in office.
He stated, “I sincerely thank everyone for their dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment, which contributed to the resounding success of our National Convention held yesterday in Abuja.
“Your active participation, presence, and shared spirit of unity have once again showcased the strength, discipline, and maturity of our party. From the leadership to the grassroots, each of you played a crucial role in ensuring a peaceful, well-organised, and impactful convention.”
“This success is more than just an achievement; it is a powerful testament to our shared vision, unity, and readiness to advance with renewed purpose. Your sacrifices, coordination, and cooperation have laid a strong foundation for the work ahead,” Omale said.
He, however, urged party members, leaders, and stakeholders across the country to remain steadfast in their efforts to ensure that President Tinubu and other APC governors are returned to office in the upcoming general elections.
The All Progressives Congress held its National Convention on Friday at Eagle Square, Abuja, where it ratified leadership structures at ward, local government, state, and zonal levels nationwide, including Omale as Benue State chairman and the members of his executive committee.
