AIYEDATIWA DISMISSES ALL POLITICAL AIDES, PLANS TO APPOINT 1,000 NEW ONES

Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State, on Monday dismissed all his political aides.
The announcement was made in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The statement said that those affected include Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the governor.
It also revealed that the governor has approved the appointment of 1,000 new aides drawn from the state’s 18 local government areas.
The statement said, “As part of ongoing efforts to boost efficiency and improve service delivery, Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has immediately relieved all political aides of their duties.
Those affected include Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the governor.
“The governor expressed his gratitude for their contributions to the development of the state and wished them success in their future endeavors,” the statement added.
“Meanwhile, to boost coordination and bring new capacity into the administration, the governor will appoint around 1,000 new aides from the 203 wards across the state’s 18 local government areas in due course,” the statement said.
