In the meantime, NUBASS has directed all Bauchi students currently in Jos and surrounding areas to urgently submit their details to facilitate the evacuation process.
Required information includes full name, current location, and a contactable phone number. The union stated that this data will help identify, locate, and coordinate the safe movement of students from vulnerable areas.
Students were urged to promptly provide their details through the designated channels to prevent delays in the evacuation exercise.
The decision comes amid rising tensions and renewed attacks in parts of Jos North Local Government Area, heightening concerns over the safety of residents and students in the region.
