JUST IN: TINUBU ABSENT AS AKPABIO COMMISSIONS OJOTA-OPEBI LINK BRIDGE IN LAGOS (VIDEO)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was absent on Wednesday, as President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, commissioned the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge in Lagos on his behalf.
The development was disclosed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor of Lagos State, Gboyega Akosile, in a post on Instagram accompanied by a video from the ceremony.
“Breaking: President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio on behalf of President @officialasiwajubat officially commissioned the Ojota-Opebi link bridge,” Akosile wrote.
In the video, Akpabio was seen performing the official commissioning as dignitaries gathered at the event.
The Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge is part of Lagos State’s ongoing infrastructure drive aimed at improving connectivity and easing traffic flow within the metropolis.
Tinubu had earlier been in Ogun State, where he commissioned the Gateway International Cargo Airport and other projects.
No official reason has been provided for the President’s absence from the Lagos event.
