POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTED DRUG DEALERS IN EKITI RAID

The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested two suspected illicit drug dealers in Ado Ekiti.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, identified the suspects as Promise Faṣọla and Ileri-Oluwa Alao. He disclosed that operatives recovered various illicit substances, including Colorado, Indian hemp, and Loud, as well as a POS machine, an Android phone, and a power bank.
According to Abutu, the suspects confessed to being involved in drug dealing and will be thoroughly investigated before being charged to court, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend other fleeing suspects.
He explained that the arrests followed an intelligence-led operation carried out by the Divisional Police Officer of New Iyin Division and his team, who raided a suspected drug distribution hub at the Alade Garage area in Basiri.
