TINUBU RECEIVES FORMER PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN AT STATE HOUSE, HOLDS PRIVATE MEETING

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday received former President Goodluck Jonathan in a private audience at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting, which was described as brief, marks the first engagement between both leaders since President Tinubu’s recent visit to Bayelsa State about two weeks ago.
Jonathan was said to have used the opportunity to thank President Tinubu for the visit to his home state.
According to State House correspondent Musbau Dan-Wahab, no further details were disclosed about the closed-door discussion between the two former and current presidents.
The visit adds to a series of political and diplomatic engagements at the Presidency, although the specifics of the meeting remain undisclosed.
