JUST IN: SENATE RECEIVES ANOTHER LIST OF MINISTERIAL NOMINEES

The Senate, has received another list of ministerial nominee amidst screening, from the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu.
The Chief of Staff to President delivered the second list of ministerial nominees to Senate President, Godswill Akpabio at plenary on Wednesday.
At exactly 3:19 p.m., the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives submitted the second list with the second batch of ministerial nominees to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Following the screening of the first batch of 28 nominees, Akpabio is anticipated to reveal the President’s further nominees.
As of the time of posting this report, the Senate has already screened 25 nominees in the first batch, with three more nominations to go.
Gbajabiamila delivered the initial list of 28 nominees to the red chamber last Thursday and stated that further names would be forwarded to the upper house.
