UPDATE: NIGERIA POLICE ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT EXERCISE
In collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Police Service Commission (PSC) has sought applications from interested and qualified Nigerians for recruitment as constables (recruits).
This was disclosed in a Friday announcement on the NPF X account.
The online application gateway will be active for six weeks, from October 15th to November 26th, 2023.
Prospective applicants must fill out the online application forms and submit them within the time frame indicated at www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng. The gateway is accessible to both men and women.
According to some of the online application requirements, applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth and have a National Identification Number (NIN), as well as a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings of one WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit in English and Mathematics.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25, be medically, physically, and psychologically fit, and be at least 1.67m tall for men and 1.64m tall for women.
Female applicants must also not be pregnant at the time of application; applicants must have a valid email address and phone number; and SSCE statements of results or certificates from examinations taken prior to 2015 will not be accepted.
It was also mentioned that applicants will only be invited if they meet the online registration requirements for the automated physical screening exercise, which will be held countrywide on a date to be announced later.
