
INEC TO BEGIN MEDIA ACCREDITATION FOR 2024 BYE-ELECTIONS, RE-RUN ELECTIONS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has asked all interested media organizations that are wishing to deploy journalists to cover the 2024 bye-elections and re-run to apply through an online portal by 17th of January.
The Portal according to a statement signed by the commission’s secretary on Tuesday, will be officially opened for registration on Wednesday, 17th January through Thursday 25th January, 2024.
The statement also, stated that late submission by any media organization will not be welcomed as there will be no extension of time, adding that the portal will automatically shut down on the expiry date.
