UK-BASED NIGERIAN DOCTOR LOSES LICENSE OVER BOTOX-SEX EXCHANGE
In a startling revelation, Dr. Tijion Esho, a prominent figure in the UK medical community, has been stripped of his medical licenses after a tribunal found him guilty of exchanging Botox injections for sexual favors, as reported by the Telegraph.
Dr. Esho, renowned for his expertise in cosmetic surgery and frequent appearances on popular television shows like ITV’s This Morning and BBC’s Morning Live, has faced severe repercussions following the tribunal’s ruling.
The tribunal, convened by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, heard evidence of Dr. Esho’s inappropriate relationship with a woman identified as Patient A, with whom he exchanged sexually explicit messages on Instagram. While Dr. Esho admitted to the emotional impropriety, he denied any physical sexual contact initially.
However, the tribunal uncovered damning evidence suggesting otherwise. It was revealed that Dr. Esho not only engaged in sexual intercourse with Patient A at his clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne but also administered Botox injections free of charge as part of their illicit arrangement.
Further scrutiny by the tribunal disclosed instances of Dr. Esho’s inappropriate behavior during consultations, including making suggestive comments and allowing Patient A to masturbate him.
Consequently, the tribunal concluded that Dr. Esho’s actions constituted misconduct and impaired his fitness to practice medicine. As a result, his name has been removed from the medical register, effectively revoking his ability to practice medicine in the UK.
The tribunal’s decision was underscored by the sexually motivated nature of Dr. Esho’s conduct, as evidenced by the exchange of explicit messages over a prolonged period.
Despite the tribunal’s ruling, Dr. Esho’s legal team maintains that he never engaged in physical sexual contact with Patient A, insisting that the relationship was limited to emotional indiscretions.
Botox, a popular cosmetic treatment used to reduce wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing facial muscles, has legitimate medical applications beyond its cosmetic use, including treating migraines and certain medical conditions.
The tribunal’s detailed reasoning behind the sanction is expected to be released in the coming week, shedding further light on the case and its implications for Dr. Esho’s future in the medical profession.
