NPFL: REFEREES TO GET COMMUNICATION AIDS FOR NEW SEASON
The Nigeria Football Federation has assured that it will provide communication aids for referees ahead of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
NFF Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, disclosed this at the NPFL Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Abuja.
Gusau said the gesture will improve officiating in the new season.
He also added that they will work with international partners to train Referees on the operations of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
“We have concluded the procurement of communication gadgets that can minimise errors, and these will be available for the new season,” the NFF boss stated at the AGM.
The new season will kick-off on Saturday, August 31, with Rangers taking on El-Kanemi Warriors in Enugu.
