
PARIS 2024: AMUSAN BLAZES THROUGH TO WOMEN’S 100m HURDLES SEMIS IN STYLE
Tobi Amusan breezed into the women’s 100m hurdles semi-finals at the 2024 Olympic Games on Wednesday.
Amusan took first position in heat 1 in a time of 12.49s.
USA’s Alaysha Johnson was second in a time of 12.61s, while Janeek Brown of Jamaica came third in a time of 12.84s.
The 27-year-old is the world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles.
She is looking to make history by becoming the first Nigerian to win gold medal in the event.
The Ogun-State born athlete finished fourth in the event three years ago in Tokyo
