JUST IN: SENATE DECLARES EDO GOVERNOR OKPEBHOLO’S SEAT VACANT

The Senate on Wednesday declared the seat of Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, vacant.
The red chamber urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a bye-election to fill the vacancy.
The seat of Okpebholo, who represented Edo Central Senatorial District, became vacant following his election and inauguration as governor in November.
