NNPC REFUTES MISLEADING CLAIMS IN VIRAL VIDEO

Read Time:1 Minute, 3 Second

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd firmly denies the false and misleading claims in a viral video alleging that its fuel does not last. These assertions are entirely baseless, originating from unverified and unprofessional research lacking credibility and accuracy.

NNPC Ltd assures consumers that its fuel is produced with high-quality formulations to ensure efficiency, durability, and environmental sustainability.

Additionally, a significant portion of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) sold at NNPC retail stations in Lagos—where the misleading video was created—is sourced from the Dangote Refinery. This refinery, a key partner in boosting local production and energy security, adheres to strict industry standards to guarantee product quality.

The video is yet another attempt by economic saboteurs to spread misinformation and damage NNPC Ltd’s reputation. The company will not tolerate deliberate falsehoods aimed at undermining its operations and misleading Nigerians.

Moving forward, NNPC Ltd will take legal action against individuals or groups spreading false information about its brand. Those responsible will be held accountable under the law.

The public is advised to disregard such deceptive content and rely on credible sources for accurate information. NNPC Ltd remains committed to ensuring the availability, affordability, and quality of fuel for all Nigerians while upholding global industry standards.
