Priscilla held her introduction and Nikka ceremony in Tanzania without her father’s presence, which sparked speculation. Many wondered if his absence was due to not being invited, particularly since he has not been involved in her life since his separation from Iyabo Ojo.

Iyabo has previously shared that her children, Festus and Priscilla, were unaware of their parents’ divorce until Priscilla turned 15.

In a conversation with BTS Reality, Priscilla opened up about growing up without her father. When asked if she had ever struggled with depression due to the absence of a father figure, she admitted to initially having “daddy issues.” However, she emphasized that her mother quickly stepped in and filled that gap for her.

Iyabo Ojo was once married to the father of her two children, Mr. Ademidun Ojo, but their marriage ended shortly after the birth of Priscilla and Festus. In a podcast interview, Iyabo spoke about how her marriage to her ex-husband introduced her to poverty for the first time. She described that period of her life as an adventure, as she sought attention, which her ex-husband provided at the time.
